because otherwise he would be lost

Maz | home educator, amateur photographer & artist
Chepstow, United Kingdom
I took my son out of school after 3 years of fear and negativity, and began to teach him at home. He began the long road to recovering his self esteem and his love of learning, and he is now, three years later, enjoying life again. Why do I do what I do? Because otherwise he would be lost... to learning, to us, and to himself.

to explore layers of truth

Don Falk | physician artist | Pahoa, Hawaii | META
attempting to gather some sense of how truth can be revealed as we explore what we believe, especially in this world of contradicting truths, incompatible truths, paradoxical truths... discovering where what we were told to believe and what we discover as our truth intersect or collide. it comes through assemblages of material that often have been cast off, it comes through the therapy sessions that patients share, and it comes through the world of the written word in novels and works of non-fiction. and overheard conversations and years of journal entries, and the messages from family, friends and lovers

Because I don't want to fade away

Nat Storer | Dover-Sherborn Regional High
Sherborne, Michigan
I am a very reserved person, so people rarely see who I really am. I express myself through art and music because I am a very creative person and they allow me to make my impact on the world and keep myself grounded.
